So, Max took off to Dragon Land by himself, and when he appeared, he saw Cassie. "Max!" she exclaimed excitedly.
They giggled as they gave each other a hug. Max explained why he came alone, and Cassie explained where all their friends were. Ord had gone to the far side of Dragon Land with his parents to visit some other relatives. Zac and Wheezy had gone on a family vacation with their parents to Blaze Mountain, many days flight from where they were. Lorca had gonna a field trip to Crystal Cove with Quetzal, which was 3 days flight, so it was just her and Max today.
"Well, what do you wanna do Cassie?" Max asked.
"Well, we could help my mom make some triple lay dragon berry cake. I know my brothers and sisters would like to see you again. And you know my mom enjoys your company," Cassie suggested.
Max giggled, "Yeah, she's a lot like my mom, well, other than being a dragon."
Max and Cassie giggle together. Cassie recalled a few times Max and Emmy had a slept over at her place, and Cassie's mom Rhea, (We'll name her this since the show never gave us a name.) had babied Max a bit. She had to put him in a diaper, because, even though he may have been potty trained in the human world. Dragon Bathrooms were just too big for him to safely use them, and he was about the same size as Cassie's baby siblings, so to them and Max it made sense. And Max didn't mind. In fact, he really liked the care and attention Rhea gave him, though, he thought the bottle feeding that one time was a bit much, but he didn't want to be rude to Rhea, and politely asked her afterwards if that would be the only time. Cassie never admitted it to Max, but she thought that seeing that play out with Max was rather cute.
Rhea did tend to treat Max, and to a little less extent, Emmy, like they were her own hatchlings. This breathed true most of all during one sleepover, Max had a bad dream, and Rhea offered to let him sleep with her, to help comfort him. Cassie didn't mind this too much, since, with 69 brothers and sisters, she knew her mom Rhea was motherly to many, especially those who were really young. Max was no exception to her caring nature. If Rhea was being honest, she honestly saw him to be more fragile than everyone else, cause his body wasn't as strong as a dragon's was, so her extra care sort of spawned from that notion.
Cassie, soon brought Max to her family's cave. As they made their way in, they were greeted by Rhea. "Cassie! Max! You're just in time to help me with preparing the Triple Layer Dragonberry Cake, my husband's away on a business meeting the whole week, so it's just me Cassie and all my other children. How's one of my honorable hatchlings?"
Max hugged Rhea as she picked him up to hug him as well. "I'm doing great. I've never had a Triple Layer Dragonberry Cake before. Must be huge."
Rhea giggled at his amazement, "Well, then, I'll let you and Cassie help me make it. But first...................."
