"Definitely sports," Pete announced as his big beefy finger prodded where SPORTS was displayed on a small screen, along with the other choices.
"What the hell, dude," Eugene said, snatching the console away. "It's not a touch screen. It's way too old to have one of those."
Except all the other choices disappeared, leaving just the word SPORTS on the small screen.
Judy shot her boyfriend an irritated look, pissed off that he had made the choice for all of them unilaterally. Pete gave her a sheepish grin, but definitely didn't look or feel guilty.
"Traditional or Immersive?" the electronic voice intoned. The word SPORTS remained on the tiny screen, for which Eugene was thankful. It meant Pete couldn't just touch the screen again and make the choice for everyone.
