This choice: Lillie opens her bag to check what is Nebby doing inside.  •  Go Back...
Chapter #5

'Introduced' to Lillie

    by: Unknown
Lillie looked at the shaking bag, inside of which was a very agitated Cosmog. The girl let out a sigh: Nebby had already gotten out of the bag, now this?

"Nebby, what are you doing...?" Lillie muttered as she glanced around, making sure no one was paying attention to her, before hesitantly unzipping her bag and peering inside to see a certain Cosmog in a corner, busily... nuzzling?... something while letting out happy exclamations.

"Nebby?" Lillie wondered, causing the Pokemon to momentarily halt and turn around; thinking you were spotted, you mentally prepared to explain yourself, but were then pushed against the far end of the bag by the Pokemon's body, which covered you from sight and silenced you.

"Pew!" Nebby happily cried while looking at Lillie, who sighed.
"Nebby, you need to stay quiet, or we're gonna get found..." she tried to explain, but her companion wasn't listening anymore: Nebby had turned around, their attention back on whatever thing was in that bag.

Speaking of, Lillie wondered what exactly was in her bag: she was sure she had thrown the bottle that Nebby carelessly emptied away; aside from Nebby themselves, she didn't remember putting anything else inside.

"Nebby?" Lillie called once more, gently grabbing a hold of her companion and pulling them back; for some reason, the Cosmog didn't seem happy with that a began struggling in Lillie's grip.

"Pew, pew!"

As for you, you saw this as your occasion to get the girl's attention. If you could just make her see you...

"Ack- Nebby! What has gotten into you...?" Lillie wondered through gritted teeth, trying to control the Pokemon while trying to not grab unwanted attention. At this rate, it wouldn't be long though...

"Um... excuse me?"

"Hm?" Lillie momentarily stopped focusing on Nebby to bring her gaze on the floor of the bag, sure she had heard something.

And she was right.

Standing there, facing Cosmog and staring at her, was a person, though an extremely tiny one.

Lillie couldn't believe what she was seeing! She was so shocked that she even let go of Nebby, who consequently jumped back on you and let out a happy cry as they started affectionately smothering you once more.

--

"Um... hello?" you meekly said once Lillie had managed to get the excited Nebby off of you once again,
"I know this seems weird, but..." you trailed off.

This didn't seem weird, this definitely was weird: Mew, the whole mess you were in, you being so small than a relatively small Pokemon such as 'Nebby' could easily smother you, it all was... overwhelming.

For her part, Lillie didn't know what to say either. The appearance of a small person inside of her bag was... unexpected, to say the least.

Hesitantly, Lillie lowered a hand within her bag and held it in front of you, who nervously stepped on the offered palm, which Lillie lifted out in the open, before turning her attention to the other occupant of the bag.

"Nebby, please, stay inside. Okay?" she plead.

"Pew!"

Lillie zipped her bag back up, hiding the Cosmog from sight.

And finally, she was free to turn her attention to you.

"Um..."

"W-Who are you?" Lillie sternly asked, or at least tried to: the stutter really did spoil the effect.

Regardless, you told her your name, before proceeding to explain the events that led you from a patch of grass to the insides of a giant girl's bag and ultimately in the middle of the hand of the same girl; Lillie listened carefully to what you had to say.

When you finally finished your tale, Lillie stared at you with a perplexed expression on her face.

"... So, you climbed in my bag to get my attention?" she asked. You nodded your head. Lillie wasn't done with the questions and, honestly, you couldn't say you blamed her for that.
"Was it... really Mew that did this to you?"

"Yeah, I... it's strange, really," you said, once more recalling your recent meeting with the pink legendary,
"She just sort of appeared and then shrunk me. I don't know why or how that's even possible, but..." you paused and let out a small sigh,
"... Point is, miss-"

"Lillie." the giantess interrupted with a vague blush,
"My name is Lillie."

"Right, Lillie." you sent the blonde giantess a quick smile,
"Anyway, point is, Mew told me to go find her to... uh, I hope, give me back my size." you paused once more.

Now that you heard it coming from your own lips... you had to admit the story you've been telling sounded like an excuse, and a pretty ridiculous one as well.

"I-I swear it's the truth!" you yelled before Lillie could say anything.

"It's alright, I believe you," Lillie reassured, letting a small smile spread for the first time since she met you.

"You... do?"

Lillie nodded.

"Yeah... although, I have no idea how I could help..." she muttered as her smile fell into a sorrowful expression,
"S-Sorry."

"Well, uh... Mew did say to go find her..." you repeated,
"I know it's a lot to ask, but... couldn't you help me with that?"

Lillie hesitated, unsure how to reply: after all, it WAS a pretty big request from someone she had just met.

Plus, it wasn't like she had nothing else to do...
