Your eyes wide open, seeing the giant Pokemon that just left you. Well... at least you met Mew, no one well every believe you yet. She wants you to go find her? Does she realise the problems that arrises with you. And today of all days. This was suppose to be your day of triumph. The day where you took your first step into greatness. Now, well now you were the size of a Joltik.
You grew up in Viridian City, and despite all your aspirations, you were constantly pushed away from the Trainer life and into the store owning life by your family. You didn’t really want to, you wanted to explore! You wanted go around catching Pokemon, doing battles. You wanted to be a Pokemon Trainer. You were a teenager, so you were past the general age for starting trainers.
Until of course, then even it came along.
You first saw it on a flyer. The Pokemon Challenge of the ages. Pokemon Extravaganza! It was a nice idea.
All the Pokemon left over by breeding, all of them were being handed out to Rookies. Not only does this mean the Pokemon get homes, but they can easily provide Pokemon for all of them. T
All the regions in the world, coming together for an ultimate competition. Much like each region, it has Gym Leaders as you have to beat. Each of one type, as instead of badges you will get coloured ribbons. Once you have all the colours, prevent it to a Champion of any region, and you can challenge them.
It was just the thing you needed. So you got excited as you ran over almost as soon as it happened. Waiting all month for the even to actually start. Today was the day, and looking at your clock... it was going to start in five minutes. Now you have shrunk, and you can’t even do it. It would be far too dangerous.

1 Month Ago.
“Hey! I’m not late am I!” You shout, running up to the desk where it was happening.
“Uh, of course not sir. In fact you are our first one of the day. Would you like to register for Extravengza?” The woman behind the desk said. She questioned as you nodded your head.
“Yes, my name is (Your Name)” You say to her as she smiled. Pulling out the paperwork as you eagerly signed, getting your breath back as you literally ran over.
“Now, do you have prior experience?”
“N-No. I thought this was for rookies?” You question her.
“Well, it is however we do expect some expert trainers to try. Don’t worry though, they will all follow the same rules as you. Although, i’m a bit shocked. Aren’t you a bit old to start now.”
“Well, better then never.” You say back to her as she couldn’t agree more. Now that you have signed everything, she gave you what you needed. A Pokedex, five spare Pokeballs, canned food that will last, A ribbon box and a drink bottle. She then gave you a passport.
“As you know, each region only has eight Gym leaders, so you will have to travel to get all. This passport will get you a free ride to any other region.”
“Woah. Awesome.” You say with the biggest smile.
“Good, now you can pick your first Pokemon!” She said happily. You followed her as she went into the room. Since you were the first one, it was giant. Over a thousand balls all laid out as you followed her. “Quite the pick you get. Now you won’t be able to bring your Pokemon out until the event starts, a lock is on it. To make sure no cheating.”
“Got it.” You say back to her as you walk around. So many Pokeballs. However in a few seconds you already picked. Grabbing the ball and pulling it up.
“You got your choice? That was quick. I suppose they all are the same to us. Each one has a different Pokemon in it. From any region as well!”
“Something about this ball, I don’t know I guess you could it called to me.” You say to the Pokemon that was in your palm.
“Well, that’s a good sign!”
“Yeah... I suppose it is.” You say flashing her a smile.

Now holding the shrunken Pokeball in you, you start thinking about what to do. You could go back home, get yelled at by your parents and chances are never be able to leave again. Or... you can have your dream.
Sure you were small, but it was not like you were in a vegetable state. You can still do this, you can still win! Shrunken to a small state or not, you will not be stopped!
Plus, you got to find Mew. You two are still in a game after all, and you play to win. Moving around and looking inside of your bag. Everything was still there. You don’t really have a problem. Well except for your ribbon case, gonna have to get a normal size replacement.
As the timer counted down on your Pokenav, you got excited.
Not only are you going to find out who your Pokemon was and who you will journey with, you will also hopefully see them normal size.
You think about your plan. Now, you should train your Pokemon first, make them strong for the first gym badge. You might have to journey depending on the Type Advantage, but you can do that. Of course, since they all came from abandoned eggs at Daycare, they were gonna be a baby Pokemon. Not to mention very weak.
A normal trainer would be able to carry their Pokemon back to the centre in case, but you can’t. Not to mention you can’t use your points. Normally recover 20hp. however it shrunk down with you, so it would be 2hp.
*Beep Beep*
As the beeping started, so did the event. Now was the moment. Tossing your Pokeball, your first Pokemon came out.
