"Are you sure about this?" He asked from te passengers seat "When I called you I was sort of hoping for help in a sort of job application kind of way."
"A house without a good foundation cannot stand." She gave him one of her timeless Confucianisms "You focused on one goal far too much your entire life at the exclusion of everything else. You didn't have any support once your world fell away from you. Before we can build you up to a height greater than you fell from, we need to make sure you have a sturdy base to raise you up with. And that means...friends."
He'd rather she said people with connections...but thinking her words over, she had a point. He didn't have anyone to turn to when his job kicked him out. He didn't even have a best friend. Maybe this would be a good thing.

You need to find a new way. A new you." She looked back at him "Go out. Explore. Discover a new way. Find out something about yourself here and run with it. You don't even have to fully interact with them. Just get lose. Try to absorb some of their aura."
Their 'aura'? Really?"
"You did ask me to help Felix. Go on. Git." She chuckled and pushed him out into the big, scary world. "If you don't try, how can you suceed?"
....She was right. Dang it she was right.
He scanned the area. He didn't have to just walk up to them. Just be near them. Try to get lost in the sensation of being near. Try to come out of his shell and at least pretend to be more social......juy.
After a moment he made a decision. He braced himself and sat down near the...
