Everyone likes to be the hero.

So create a character.

The fifth one will used to create more players when all four slots have been filled up.

As for why I did this story, I like the alternate interpretations of characters in shows/Anime/Comics/ETC. Sometimes, they get re-used in the video games, like Luigi was afraid of ghosts in the 1980's Cartoon and is now afraid of ghosts in the games.
