Alphonse, Zampano and Jerso set out to Xing in about an hour or so. But currently Alphonse was distracted by something...something that seemed rather odd was trotting down the sidewalk. "Oooh how cute!" Al gushed as he approached the docile creature.
"Careful, Alphonse...that thing is acting strange..." Jerso cautioned the young blond. "Yeah...might have rabies...those things usually don't come this close to humans." Zampano said skeptically as he adjusted his glasses.
Alphonse didn't seem to be heeding his self described 'bodyguards' words, as he knelt down to the fluffy animal and cooed at it: "Aww, hello little guy...are you lost?" Al gently petted the fox's fluffy head.
The fox's tail wagged and it made pleased squeaky noises, only making Alphonse have a cute-attack even more. The fox trotted away suddenly, Alphonse following behind it and whining for it to come back.
"Ugh...guess we've got a fox to catch..." Zampano sighed.
"Let's just make sure poor kid doesn't get himself bit." Jerso groaned.
Alphonse chased the fox around a corner and looked around...the fur was so soft and since he just recently was able to feel things again...it was nice to pet what normally would be a skittish animal.
Unfortunately Alphonse frowned as the fox seemed to have disappeared. That was when he suddenly got bonked on the head by an apple which fell from the above tree.
"Ouch! What..?" Al held the fruit and looked upward to see a young boy scarcely older than Edward it seemed. Most remarkable was that the boy appeared to be a human with fox ears and a tail but was wearing regular clothes!
"Nnrghh! Almooost...." Renard grunted as he clung to the tree trunk and stretched his arm out to grab an apple.
The apple that had bonked Al on the head apparently was an accident.
