Renard smiled a toothy grin as he gripped the apple and snapped it from the branch. A satisfying hum rang out as he took a big bite out of the sweet fruit and layed against the tree trunk from the branch.
Looking down, Renard saw the blond boy from before looking up at him with awe. The fox boy grinned as he lifted two fingers in greeting.
"Hey, sorry did you get bonked?"
Al blinked before rubbing the back of his head. "Uh...it's fine it didn't hurt or anything."
Renard sat up and swung his legs from the tree branch. "I'm surprised, your not throwing a stick or rock at me. Congratulations you've intrigued me."
The foxboy then leaned backwards and fell from the tree. Al gasped and rushed forward to catch the strange boy, only to stare wide wide as instead of a human the fox from before landed on it's four paws.
The fox catched the half eaten apple in his mouth before finishing it and spitting out the naked core. Sprinting behind Al, the blond boy turned around only to come face to face with the foxboy smiling michiviously.
"Are you...a chimera?"
Renard frowned as he threw his arms behind his head. "Man it's been a long time since I heard that name. But to answer your question blondie, yeah I'm a human chimera hybrid."
The orange haired boy began pacing around and looking at the sky. "But I'm not really in the army's good graces, man I'm getting a headache just thinking about it."
Al fiddled with his fingers. "Um can I ask something else?", the Elric asked somewhat nervous. He got a grunt and a side eye from Renard in confirmation.
"Can i.....touch your ears?"
Renard's eyes widened as a faint blush grew on his face. The foxboy put his arms down before slowly nodded. "Ah..i...um sure!"
Smiling, Al thanked Renard and reached up to the furry appendages. The soft ears twitched as Al felt their warmth and softness while carefully caressing them. Renard's face scratched up slightly before he finally couldn't take it and let out a Purr~.
