Through the door came an extremely tall, purple haired boy. He had a tired look on his face and still had his uniform on. His left arm was carrying an assortment of snacks. It was Atsushi Murasakibara, the purple giant.
When Chiba hung out with the team he used to bring them homemade snacks, Atsushi has been excited whenever he made treats and became close to Chiba. It seem like a opposite attract situation, despite their height difference they were close. Atsushi would rub his head and carry him on shoulders.
Still, near the end of junior high, Atsushi began to keep his distance from Chiba saying he didn't want to "crush" him. Chiba watched his skill and understood, he didn't want to accidentally hurt him and other players with his strength.
Atsushi walked over to his bed, snacks in hand. As he approached, Chiba gazed up in awe as his friend loomed over him like a titan. He knew he needed to get the giant's attention.
Chiba began to wave his arms and call out. "Atsushi! Down here!"
