She wants to look deeper

She took the knife she had brought up and whipped it clean quickly.
Then she put it onto the doll's head.
She pressed it only deep enough to not cut into any organs except the skin.
Beneath she saw actually organs, and she was happily surprised by it. She then carefully tugged and cut them out.
Digestive tract, throat, lungs, etc., all was swapped.

After she put them back together she sealed the cut with a slide of her finger. Adams stomach was left a bit flatter. But his chest had also lost a little volume.
Heather smiled at it.
She was really curious how the long term effects would turn out.
Her mother had received slight changes in the opposite direction. Her belly and chest had to hold bigger intestines after all.
She sealed her up just the same.
