"... with your father."
You could not believe your ears. "Joe left with my father?" Annoyed, you demanded. "He told mom and I he was looking for him!"
Isa sighed. "I fear that is the truth, Miss Mage." Calmly, she said. "He is one of Joe's legal guardians so I could not deny him when he arrived to take Joe home."

You sighed, frustrated. Dad had the bedside manners of a barbarian; he had always spoke bluntly, never really sugar coating anything. "Have you found him?" Softly, you demanded.
"I am still searching, Gina." Calmly, dad replied. "I regret that I know little regarding his social habits or interactions." he sighed, showing a hint of frustration. "Would you know of a location he would consider safe, somewhere he could gather his thoughts with little chance of interruption?"
You thought furiously before remembering Joe mentioning a quiet place he went to when he was having a bad or very strange day. "I might know of one place." Serious, you said.
"Where might that be, Gina." Anxious, dad demanded. "I must be at his side in this delicate time of his adolescence."
You sighed then...
