Asriel was sitting next to his bed with the lamp shining on him in his sheets. He was about his mid teens and is starting to notice his changes. He was getting taller (even if he wasn’t quite as tall as his parents), he was starting to grow horns which are now as big as Toriel’s. He was also growing a bit of an appetite and his voice was lowering a tiny bit. He lastly was growing very little blond on his “goatee”.
He was getting worried about the kingdom. He was next in line as King for all of monsters and he noticed that he was starting to get more royal work. All this made him think about his father, Asgore Dreemurr. He has an amazing beard and strong muscles…mostly at least. He always wanted to be like him, but he still had the motherly side (Toriel) of him.
“What should I do?” Asriel whispered to himself.
That’s when he remembered what his mother would always say.
“Eat up, and you’ll grow big and strong.” ‘Maybe I need to have a bit more treats than normal,’ He thought. “Yeah, I just need to eat an extra slices of food and I’ll be as big as dad in no time.” He finally fell into a magnificent slumber, dreaming of being like his father.
“Morning my child.” Toriel spoke cheerfully to her son.” He just waved in yawn. Long story short, he got his special slice of Butterscotch Pie since he's got important work today. Asriel realised this is where he could have a second slice. He was nervous though…
