Taking matters into his own hands

He was nervous though, not wanting to bother his mom he though "perhaps there's a way to speed things up..."
This train of thought then started to accelerate.

Alphys spent a lot of time locked in her lab, working on her weird pet projects, she surely would have some time to spare for a friend. Could her technology be of any use in this situation? I mean... last month she built a functional 1:50 replica of her favorite mecha, at least she has the technical "knowhow".
Let's just hope Mettaton doesn't find out, the last thing Asriel wanted was to have his insecurities exposed on a live show.

A more private option could be the castle's library. All the Dreemurrs were quite proficient casters, and the library had no shortage of magical texts. It honestly felt like cheating, but if genetics would not help him, he'll have to improvise.
It was common knowledge that certain spells could temporarily improve the body, but the prince was looking for a more permanent solution.
