.Woooooooo!
Splat!
You had plummeted far, but, luckily, the yellow flower bed had broken your fall. With a groan, you sat up and looked around, rubbing your head and wondering where you were.
It was rather dark, the only light coming down from the hole in the cavern's ceiling. You narrowed your eyes, trying to see in the gloom, and spotted the outline of a archway.
Deciding that sitting around would get you nowhere, you stood up and walked towards the archway. When you passed through it, you found yourself in a strange landscape.
Scattered stones, rundown walls and building were everywhere, plant life growing over the ruins, surrounding you like some kind of maze.
You decide to press forward, but, as you walked down the many pathways, coming several times to a dead end, you had the feeling you were being watched.
You saw a shadow moving in the corner of your eye and heard small footsteps behind you, but when you checked you saw nothing.
After a while you regretted entering the maze, for you soon found yourself lost. You tried re-tracing your steps, but found yourself moving even deeper into the ruins.
With a frustrated sigh, you gave up and sat on a nearby block of stone, wondering why you ever thought that it would have been a good idea to explore the mountain.
It was then that he made his appearance. Out of the shadows walked a monster. He was a child, having the appearance of a goat, wearing a stripped shirt and brown pants.
You were were startled when you saw him and wanted to run away, but the goat boy quickly said, "No, please, don't run. I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to talk."
You saw that he looked just as frightened as you, and you relaxed, allowing him to approach you.
"Here, have this," he gave you a few yellow flowers, which you accepted happily, sniffing the sweet scent, liking the monster already.
"I've never seen or talked to a human before," he said, "The others say that they're bad, but I don't think so. Can we be friends? My name is Asriel. What's yours?"
You said that you would gladly be his friend and told your name.
Asriel's face brightened and he said, "Frisk. That sounds lovely. By the way, you seem to be lost. I'll help you out of here. I know this place like the back of my hand!"
You accepted his help and walked alongside him.
"You should meet my parents," Asriel continued, "They're the king and queen of the Underground. They're the best, especially my mom, who's a wonderful good. She makes the best pies in the world!"
You said you wanted to meet his parents and the two of you left the ruins.
