Chapter #5

Dr Smith

Dr Smith has been invited to come along and take part in its weekly school assembly. He can see full of young students fill the seats, so no pressure for someone who had experienced this before. What he’s almost in pressure was that he’s using the special device for the first time. But regardless, he was greeted on stage and speaks to the students with a cheerful smile to his face.

“Good Morning Students!” Dr Smith greeted. “It’s nice to see you all here! My name’s Dr Smith, and I’m a great inventor from the Smith Laboratory. I’m gonna show you my inventions, including this thing I haven’t tried before.

Dr Smith then brings the case and gets it out to let the students see what it is he’s referring to. It was a ray gun, more like a toy gun they all think of it. That may be due to the number of fancy colours in general, but he feels it’s a good look to it. There were a lot of Ooh’s and Ah’s all around, which was a good start for the inventor. Now he needed to test it out, but he couldn’t do it all by himself.

“So I will need a volunteer to get hit by a ray gun? Don’t worry, it wouldn’t hurt you as such, but you’ll gonna be surprised what will happen to you.” Dr Smith convinces the plea to the students.

Surprisingly, many hands were raised as if everyone wanted to volunteer. This is when he knew he only had to pick one, but eventually you wasted no time and pointed at a student, who is...
