It was Tilly, your daughter. She had taken most of her genes from your wife, Annabelle. She had dark brown hair with light brown eyes. She also took her short genes as well, as she stood only 5 foot even. She was still 13 though, so she still had plenty of time to grow. Today, she wore a long white shirt that she probably stole from you. She had shorts that stopped its length just above her knee. She greeted you with a smile as she said, "Morning, dad." "Morning, Tilly," you answered as you went back to your breakfast. However, you did realize something a little bit odd about Tilly. She seem to be more happier than usual.
Tilly didn't stop smiling, even while she was getting her breakfast ready. She sat down at the table with you, with a joyous expression on her face. "Why are you so happy this morning?" You pondered. Tilly looked up at you and said, "I grew two inches since I checked last time." You simply nodded your head. You weren't troubled by the fact she had grown two inches since she last checked. Last time she did was when she went to the doctor for a check-up. And that was more than 9 months ago. "That's good," You said.
"And you know the best part about it?" Tilly asked you, obviously still excited about this new spurt. "What?" You said nonchalantly. "I checked myself two weeks ago and I was only 5'0" then." This caught your interest for a moment. A growth spurt of two inches in a span of two weeks....It seem a little out of the nature, you thought. Then your mind just thought it was simply a big spurt for the beginning. Surely, as time went by, her growth will slowly go down.
