"Oh no!" He exclaimed as he quickly closed the door after seeing Bri's fairy godmother costume for her school play. "I can't be in a play! I can't act if my life depends on it."
The first thing he went to do was go find Bri. The first place he thought to look was her room. Unfortunately for him, he couldn't just spit out the problem due to the fact that Courtney was present as well, as she shared the room with Bri.
"Hi Joshie!" Bri beamed, thinking maybe he wanted another swap.
"Hey Bri, can I talk to you for a minute... in private?"
"Yep!" She said, walking out into the hall, where Josh then led her back to his room. "Do you want to make another swap?"
"No not right now. You see, I've got a problem."
"What kind of problem?" Bri asked.
"Take a look for yourself." Josh said opening the closet.
"My play costume? What's it doing in here? And why is it so big?"
As if on cue, Kim opened up the door once again. She had a new hamper this time, this one filled up with Bri's smaller male clothes and Courtney's stylish wardrobe. "Josh, I forgot to tell you. Remember you have play practice at the elementary school on all next week, and then the show is Friday night." She said before closing the door again.
"What play?" Bri asked her brother, not being able to recall him being in any play.
"That's the problem! The clothes swap gave me your costume, so now I'm in the play instead of you!" He explained.
"Oh, geez!"
"We've got to swap clothes back!" Josh begged.
"But I like your clothes. Why don't you just give me your spot in the play instead?"
"I guess that could work. Will you take my spot in the play then?"
"Not yet, that play is getting kind of old anyway. If you really don't want to be in it, then you'll give me your _____."
