The priestess appeared in the doorway before you with a sultry smile on her face. It's hard to imagine the powerful priestess as anything other than a serious warrior, however those robes are unmistakable. Her straw sandals softly clicked against her heels as she made her way down the stairs towards you. As she gets closer you notice a faint copper-like smell in the air, was it blood?
"Hello little one." The priestess held out her hand as she got close to you, "have you come all the way out here just to see me, how sweet!"
"Um, priestess...are you feeling alright?" You hold your ground, unsure of what exactly you should do. "You don't seem quite like yourself."
"Aw are you concerned about me, what a gentleman!" She catches your arm in her iron grip while smiling sweetly at you. "There's no need to be scared, be good and come along with me now." Without waiting for a response she starts to slowly drag you back towards the shrine.
While you don't know exactly what is wrong with the priestess you do know that if you go with her you'll never figure out what happened here. Before you can help the priestess you have to find a way to escape from her. She seems focused on the shrine while dragging you along so you summon up all of your strength and manage to wrench your arm free from her grip. With a deft roll you put some distance between you and her while rubbing your throbbing wrist.
"Oh you naughty boy," The priestess's eyes briefly flash a bright purple, "I suppose that I'll just have to punish you until you submit to me, ready or not here I come!~ " She starts stalking towards you again and it doesn't seem like she is going to go easy on you.
The priestess is now between you and the exit to the shrine back to the forest and the open door to the shrine just up the stairs behind you. Now the time has come for you to make a choice, do you try and flee into the shrine behind you? You could lock the door and put some distance between you and the possessed priestess. On the other hand you have no idea what you might find inside the shrine. You could flee into the forest and try to find help, but you'll have to get by the priestess again...if you can get past the priestess again...
