A week ago Thomas was struck by lightning while he was getting out late at night on a midnight snack run for Yvonne as a result he ended up in a coma for three days. Ever since he woke up he's felt a little different but he couldn't quite work out what. Now after sick leave it was his first day back at work, and little did he know, this would be one very strange day.
"Hey Thomas," Miranda greeted him with a friendly voice rather than her usual cold glares. "How are you feeling today?"
'Ah, that explains it' Thomas realized. 'I nearly died so now she's acting all friendly.'
"As well as can be expected after being struck by lightning," he replied in a casual manner, before trying his luck. "Hey, listen, about Yvonne..." Thomas began to question Miranda while she was being friendly to him.
"Water under the bridge," Miranda brushed him off in friendly manner indicating she had in fact forgiven them both but still didn't want to talk about what had happened between the two of them. "Now, if you'd excuse me I have work to do."
Thomas watched Miranda walk off and couldn't help but stare at her butt as he wondered....
