This choice: Aware swap, just as planned • Go Back... As soon as the button was pressed, Apollo felt the changes take effect almost immediately. He felt much shorter, and slimmer. He could feel Trucy's hair tickling the back of his neck, her hat resting atop his head, and her dress clinging tightly to his body. The biggest change though was the void between his legs, and the weight on his chest. Trucy's magician outfit, although not exactly what he'd call 'revealing', showed off a bit more than his usual suit, and only made the changes even more obvious. He also noticed that he no longer had the remote, and instead held a magic wand and a large pair of panties in his small, gloved hands.
Before Apollo could do anything else, he heard a loud scream behind him, along with a clattering sound. He quickly turned around, feeling Trucy's cape swish around him as he did so, to see his own body, now occupied by Trucy, staring at him, fear evident on her face. The remote had dropped to the ground, which was probably what the clattering sound was.
"Polly, what did you do!?" Trucy screamed, terrified of what was going on.
"Well, I swapped bodies with you," Apollo answered, remaining calm since he was the one who'd caused the swap. It was still strange for him to hear Trucy's voice coming out of his mouth though.
"B-But how? This isn't... you shouldn't..."
Apollo placed Trucy's magic stuff down on a chair before walking up to where Trucy had dropped the remote, Trucy following him with her eyes the whole time. He picked up the remote off the floor and showed it to her, realising how much taller Trucy was than him now. "I used this remote."
Before Apollo could even get anything else out, Trucy interrupted. "But, how does it work? And why'd you switch with me?"
Apollo sighed, before explaining everything, from the remote arriving at the office, to his reasons for swapping with Trucy. Once he had finished explaining, Trucy seemed to understand, but she still seemed to be very uncomfortable in Apollo's body.
"Well," she said, finally starting to calm down, "If you wanted time to relax, you probably shouldn't have swapped with me."
"Why not?"
"Well, I have a show to do tonight."
Apollo frowned. Had this been anyone else, he would have asked what they meant by "a show to do", but since this was Trucy he was talking to, he knew she was talking about a magic show. That wasn't what he was frowning about, though. "I thought Mr. Wright said no shows while he's in Kurain."
"I know, but I just couldn't say no to a chance to perform. So, you can't be me right now. I need time to practice."
This was not exactly how Apollo had intended this to go. If Trucy had a show tonight, he'd have to find someone else to swap with to get his day off... or would he? Sure, it wasn't a "day off" exactly, but the life of a magician might still be more relaxing than that of a defense attorney. Trucy was still in her teens, and she made it all look so easy, so how hard could it really be?   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
