Apollo thought about what to do and soon decided that staying as Trucy and living her life for a day could be interesting and easily a lot better then sitting around and doing the paperwork Mr. Wright had left behind.
"Well, I guess I have a magic show to get ready for then." Apollo told Trucy.
Trucy just looked at him with a shocked expression "But, but, you don't know how to do any magic tricks!"
"The show's not till tonight, you can probably teach me some tricks by then."
"But not enough! C'mon, it's my show, can't you just switch us back now?" Trucy begged.
"A show you weren't supposed to do in the first place. I'll give you a choice. Either you let me do your show for you. Or I'll call your dad, in your body, and tell him that you were planning on doing a show tonight." Apollo bargained.
Trucy thought about it for a while and eventually sighed and answered Apollo. "Fine, you can do my show from me." She said with her head down. after a few seconds of silence she perked up again "But, we're going to need to work double time! Pick up that magic wand and prepare to do some magic!"
The next three hours or so were spent by Trucy teaching Apollo some basic magic tricks. Card tricks, and coin tricks, remove your thumb, the simple stuff.
"Okay" Trucy began "I think you're ready to learn a real magic trick, The amazing Mr. Hat!" Trucy exclaimed "But, before I teach you have to know that not everyone can be a good partner to Mr. Hat, it takes a lot of practice and..." Trucy began to ramble on
Apollo ignored her and activated Mr. Hat, he had seen Trucy do so many times on investigations and the like that it be impossible for him not to have learned how she did it. He did Trucy ventriloquist act with Mr. Hat "I think Apollo can do this just fine, but you really shouldn't have taken the show request in the first place." Apollo laughed as he made Mr. Hat say
"Et tu, Hat?" Trucy joked with a laugh
As Apollo laughed he realized there was another trick that Trucy hadn't shown him yet. "Hey, what about your magic panties? Aren't they your signature trick?"
"You may have my body, but the secret of the magic panties is for my mind only." Trucy said.
Before Apollo could say anything he was interrupted by the chime of the clock. "Ah! It's getting late, the show will start soon! You need to hurry!" Trucy said and began to nearly push Apollo out the door
"What about you?" Apollo asked.
"You said you wanted the day off and someone has to do your paperwork." Trucy said with a smile "Don't worry, I can do it. You just do your best at the show, it's at the wonder bar!"
As Apollo was practically pushed out of the office, he noticed he still had the remote in his left hand, he held onto it the whole magic training session to avoid Trucy swapping back with him. Having nowhere else to put it, Trucy's outfit had no pockets. He put it under Trucy's hat, it should be safe there, he hoped. he decided there was nothing else he could really do at a time like this and began to head to the wonder bar, hopefully this show wouldn't be a complete failure.
