The prosecutor's sister was quite a strange sight, standing several stories over his head. She was looking down at him with an expression of utter disbelief to match his own.
"What the hell happened?" Aura asked. Simon felt like asking the same question himself, and didn't have answer.
Aura began to stoop down, her hand approaching him. Simon flinched as she took a grip on his upper body and lifted him from the floor.
"There was a package in with my mail," he said once Aura's hand stabilized. "It was-..."
He broke off as he looked at the table. The spherical object that seemed to have done this to him was, somehow, no longer sitting on the table.
"Si', you aren't making this any more clear." Aura said. She was about to continue when both froze, hearing a knock at the door.
