Mom mused for a few seconds, before saying, "I've got it! You won't doubt me now..."
"Doubt.... w-what?!" you gasped, as an invisible force grabbed you by your ankle and lifted you several feet into the air. Of course, it meant you was flipped upside down, so now, you was facing mom's bemused face effectively from the ceiling.
"Do you believe me now?" mom asked.
"Crap.. I mean..." you stammered, not quite believing your eyes.
"Language, mister" mom warned as she thought about the next move. Suddenly, your scalp felt itchy, and long blond strands of hair shot out, overwhelming your normal hair. Your new hair defied gravity though, as it quickly twisted itself into a new hairstyle. Mom was already giggling madly when a mirror appeared in front of your still upside down, and shocked figure.
"Mom! What have you done to me!?" you wailed, seeing your new hairstyle. It looked like someone had glued on an extremely stupid looking wig, and decided to do a bad parody of both Mel and Hannah. Braided pigtails did not suit you at all.
Still giggling, mom flipped you back onto the ground. "Still doubting me, now?"
"N-no. Can you fix this?" you pleaded.
Mom didn't answer your plea. Instead, she produced a particularly girlish looking bracelet and said, "Put this on."
"What!? I'm not wearing that" you protested.
"I would, John, if I was you. Especially where we're going..." mom warned.
