Just as you put on the bracelet, you felt a strange sensation, like you we're dizzy and faint. Blinking, you realized that you couldn't see. "Mom! What have you done to me!" you wailed, slightly relived that your voice was still normal. It had crossed your mind that the bracelet might turn you into a girl, which naturally you didn't want.
"Sorry, honey. I forget how much teleportation sickness affects anyone new to it. Your vision will clear shortly: mom apologized.
"Teleportation! Where are we?" you ddemanded, as you felt your body, which was still normal apart from the hair. in a louder voice, you shrieked, "You hadn't changed my hair!"
"Relax, John. You're at Witchbloom magic school. Its a girls' school..."
"You're not going to leave me here" you said, unnerved.
"Only if you want me to, son. Or, if you're foolish enough to remove that bracelet of yours. Its a signal to the girls here; you're safe and are not to be enrolled. Without it, they'll skirt you and enrol you on sight.
You suddenly felt relieved that you put it on. "So why are we here?"
"I want to show you some things. Even if we separate, you're safe. Just head for the admin building."
Naturally, you did separate from mom, when a pair of teenage girls bumped into you. Mom didn't notice; either that, she didn't care. She was already out of sight when you picked yourself up.
"Sorry, I've got to go" you stammered, eager to get away. Something wasn't quite right about the way those two were staring at you....
