Out of the corner of your eye, you saw someone enter the room. It was your older sister, Hayley who had been gone for a year at some special student exchange program. At least that was how mom explained it. You were about to turn her way when you heard her gasp and scream out, "Drop that book!"
Startled, you instantly dropped the book. Only it flew away from you before it could even hit the table right into Hayley's open hand. She gripped the book, giving you a frightening look. You shut your eyes and shook your head before looking at Hayley again. Did she actually make that book fly into her awaiting hand?
You let out a short scream of fright when you saw that Hayley was now gone. You ran out of the room and looked around but she was no where to be seen. "Did I really see that happen?" Confused, you muttered. "Maybe I am coming down with something."
Confused and shaken, you walked back to the table and looked at your sandwich. "I'd better go see Dr. Thompson, just in case."
You tossed the sandwich in the garbage and walked out to go visit you family doctor who lived next door along with one of your closest friends, Megan.
