Meldona the relic hunting wizard

At last Meldona had found it. After weeks of trekking through these cursed jungles she now found herself standing at the base of the great temple of Uguan. Uguan was once a mighty nation, but had been mysteriously wiped out eons ago. All that was left was ruins such as these, buried deep in overgrown jungles.
In an ancient tome, Meldona had found the location of this temple, which was said to contain an ancient and incredibly valuable relic. She had foraged for weeks, trudging through the jungle and avoiding the locals until she had found it. she now stood before the ancient pyramid, which stood well above the surrounding trees. Meldona rubbed her palms together excitedly, imagining the relic that was now practically in her sight. Now she just had to get past whatever guards and booby-traps lay in the temple, find her way to the relic and get out with her skin (and everything else!) still attached. No problem for a powerful mage such as herself, she thought confidently.
Meldona cast a spell of invisibility on herself. She know would be unseen for 20 minutes. As long as she remained quiet she should make it fine... She set off, leaving the jungle towards the large entrance, which was quite dark and foreboding...
