The powers of a sorceress were nothing short of incredible. Unlike any other known person on the planet, Rinoa could perform magic without aid, making her capable of unbelievable power. Even Rinoa herself didn't know everything she was capable of, and Edea, the sorceress before her, admitted that the full extent of her powers were a mystery. As such, Rinoa resolved to explore the depths of her power and practice to hone what she already understood.
Today found Rinoa undertaking this very practice. The Balamb Garden training area was rarely full of people, and today was no exception. The vast majority of the creatures in the training center shied away from Rinoa, her power and reputation preceding her, which admittedly made training difficult. She couldn't exactly try out her abilities if everything ran away before she could cast a single spell!
Still, being left alone had certain advantages. Meditation was easier when Rinoa didn't have to keep an eye open for threats. This allowed her to explore her inner depths, which could sometimes create problems. Sometimes, her powers could fire without trying, and the spell effects weren't always predictable.
