Rinoa gasped lightly as she felt her body grow lighter, as if she was floating. That wouldn't have been terribly unusual, considering flotation was already a magical possibility, but the strange tingling sensation running across her entire body was unexpected. All around her, the air seemed to shimmer and warp before being lost in a dazzling burst of light.
When the light cleared, there was no trace or Rinoa in the training facility, save for a pile of clothing where she had previously been standing...
The first thing Rinoa realized was that she was falling, and not just a few feet like a flotation spell had ended. Wherever she was, it was a fair distance above the ground. But for that to be true... she'd have had to be somewhere else entirely! Rinoa's heart fluttered as she realized this meant she must have teleported! Edea had shown a similar ability when possessed by Ultimecia, but even that was a power only displayed sparingly, suggesting it wasn't exactly and easy feat.
Rinoa didn't have terribly long to comprehend all the ramifications of her magical breakthrough, as her sudden descent ended with a rough landing. Thankfully she didn't land on hard ground, saving her from any real injury. Not yet aware that her teleportation had not been completely successful, the naked sorceress curiously sat up and looked around, discovering that she had landed-
