The flashing lights and blaring sounds might have been off putting to some, but Mackenzie was drawn to the arcade. Some people might say that it was a waste, coming to the beach to play video games, but it was fine by Mackenzie. Of course, it could still be a little overwhelming; she didn't know where to start first.
In the fairly populated arcade, there were only a few open games that she was interested in. First was one of those dancing rhythm games; it might tire her out, but it was certainly fun, and she could say she got a work out from it!
Second was the crane game. A waste of money, maybe, but there was something about the chance of it that drew her in. Plus, some of the prizes in there would be more than worth the price of repeated attempts if she could manage to fish something out....
And finally, there was one of those shooting games meant for 2 players. There was 1 open spot, but from what Mackenzie could see the person already on it was pretty... engrossed, to say the least, shouting at the screen as she gunned down monsters.
