Your plans are crazy, just like you are becoming. You decide to just go to bed. You dress down, and proceed to your bed. You pull the covers over your head. You're not ready to confront the implications of your day. What were you to Tara? A passing curiosity, a fascinating little critter? Why did you care? She'd be gone soon enough.
You drift to sleep, thoughts cross your mind, but the reality is what it is. Your dreams are confused. You wake to the alarm, but you do no workout, not prep for the day. Instead you head for the Iphone. multiple cameras are out, but no Tara. She appears to be as asleep as you expected. Otherwise, no Trevorina, she's quite dead. No wildlife, even though you know its out there. You stare at the screen for a long moment. What creatures were out there, you wondered? Certainly not Tara, as she was a helpful being...Nonetheless, her activity had interfered with your plans. You thought of Tara. She had interfered enough in your plans. What was left at this point? Could your research survive her? And if so, what was the value? She'd caused enough issues. You stared at the screen again. Tara's booted feet crushed so many cameras. You could imagine yourself watching your end at those booted feet. Yet, was it her fault? She was just enjoying the terrain. Why had you taken such issue with a woman who cared so much for nature? You stared one last time at the screen. Tara had been a friend, she was a good person. Hell, she could help you with your studies, yet you treated her with distrust. She'd fed you, trusted you. she was a friend, what was wrong with you?
Her casual crushing of Trevorina. Her overwhelming power. Her inability to understand your predicament. You respected her, but you weren't clear on why yet. Was it her insane power over you? You'd stared at her boots , confident they could unceremoniously end you, was that it? What came next? Were you just an insect or was there more?
