through the scanner you can see Cody laying in his bed watching TV. You are about to send the note through the portal when the boy suddenly climbed out of bed and walked out of the room. Following him with the scanner you watch as he walked downstairs to the kitchen. It looked like he was getting something to snack on. Maybe you wouldn't need that note after all, all you had to do was jump though and surprise him when he came back.
With a deep breath you leap through the portal.
And into open space.
Something had gone wrong, very very wrong. While the portal successfully teleported you from your lab to Cody's room, there was a side effect. The room and everything else was now scaled up to gigantic proportions. You are falling though the air like a skydiver without a parachute. You don't have much time before you land, so with the precious seconds left you try to steer your self to possible landing sites.
Meanwhile, while this drama was unfolding, Cody was on his way back to his room with a glass of milk in one hand and a slice of bread with peanut butter in the other. He was a mere seconds away from entering his bedroom when you teleported in and now you were in his path.
