"Oh good" You smiled. Fortunately, Cody was sitting and watching tv.
The couch was directly across from the tv with a low living room table between them.
All you needed to do was create the portal somewhere between Cody and the TV so that he'll notice your note falling.
"This is going to be great" You grinned from ear to ear.
You took a deep breath before entering the coordinates and slapping [enter]
Suddenly the small secondary portal next to you disappeared, and the floor of the lab was now a window to Cody's living room.
You stared over the ledge in awe. The living room looked HUGE. The sound of the tv quickly filled up your lab, as well as the scent of Cody's house.
Just as your monitors detected, Cody sat there on the couch watching tv. He looked like your average twelve year old. He had definitely grown a bit since you had last seen him.
"Alright...I guess now's a better time then never.." You walked over to your note and brought it over to the edge.
