As you let go of the note, a gust of wind happened to blow through a window in the living room.
Your heart nearly stopped as you watched the paper flutter through the air around your lab. By the time the paper had settled, it's tail-end had gotten caught over a wire that had been hanging across the ceiling of the lab.
"Damn it!"
Carefully, you walked up to the edge and leaned in, trying to pull it down with your fingertips.
"Common....." You struggled, as you swatted your arm up and down, trying to get it with one small tug.
"GOT IT!" You pulled the paper down, only to cause yourself to lose balance.
"Gnnngghhh gaahh!" You tried to lean yourself back, but it was too late.
You screamed in terror as you fell through the portal, free-falling into the enormous living room below.
Though everything was a blur, You were able to make out the table below as it grew bigger and bigger, It was only until you were about half way there that you noticed that there were two bowls placed on it, one of which was exactly where you were about to land. You must have not been paying close enough attention when you scanned the living room earlier.
Though you were pretty sure that this landing would be your end, you made one final scream for help.
