They find Naruto training on the grounds

Arriving to the training grounds, Ino and Hinata took to hiding into a bush as they observed Naruto. Naruto was sparring with one of his Shadow Clones, brushing up on his taijutsu. Ino looked over to Hinata to see her face heat up as she fell into a trance as she watched the two sweaty Naruto's spar.

"Wow, you're so hopeless," Ino sighed as she pinched her friend back to reality.

"So-so what was your idea," Hinata asked sheepishly, blushing.

"You're going to go over there and give Naruto a wedgie."

"Th-that's it," Hinata questioned. She had been expecting Ino to have this elaborate confession plan laid out for her, but this was just another mean prank. "No, I can't do that to Naruto-kun."

"Oh come on Hinata," Ino said exasperatedly pinching her brow, "don't you get why Naruto pays so much attention to Sakura?"

Hinata looked down and shook her head. She had nothing against Sakura personally, but Hinata never quite understood what the appeal was for Naruto. She was constantly mean to him and would punch him on the fly. Not to mention she wedgies Naruto almost as much as Ino does.

"I don't know why, she's so mean!"

"That's exactly it," Ino responded, "Naruto likes a girl with fire in her belly, not someone he can just walk all over. If you want his attention you need to beat it into him!"
