Hinata surprised herself by agreeing to Ino's insane plan. The amount of times Hinata had actually been the giver of a wedgie could only be counted on one hand. She almost always found herself the victim. Despite often sharing the embarrassment with Naruto, Hinata couldn't lie, part of her always wanted to wedgie the orange clad ninja. He was always oblivious to her, and her fellow kunoichi practically made a sport out of torturing him. The more she thought about it the less she was feeling nervous about Naruto himself, but the anticipation. Hinata found her thoughts interrupted when she unconsciously bumped into Naruto.
"Oh, hi Hinata," Naruto said, turning around to greet her. Hinata face instantly heated up and she started to feel wobbly at the knees.
"No, keep yourself together Hinata."
Hinata willed herself to stand up straight, unlike previous times, she was going to follow through.
"I THINK WE SHOULD SPAR NARUTO-KUN," she accidentally blurted out. A blush crept up on her face again, embarrassed at the lack of tack of handling this plan. Not helping matters, she could hear the faint giggling of Ino from the bushes.
"Oh, ok that sounds cool," Naruto said, "I've been trying to brush up on my taijutsu, but Neji wouldn't practice with me, so I guess you're a good substitute."
"Oh," Hinata said dejected. She looked to the ground, slightly dejected by Naruto's backhanded praise.
"I can do this"
"Byakugan," Hinata shouted instantly looking up, her new intensity slightly taking Naruto back, "prepare yourself Naruto-kun."
