This choice: The relatively skinny Lord Dr. Eggman pays a visit! • Go Back...Chapter #4Enter Eggman. by: HiImJD   While #1991 Sonic was busy getting food for his new dimension buddy, Tails continued to work in his lab and fixing up Hop and getting back home. As he did, a sound interrupted his progress. That sound was the roar an air craft that sounded close by.
“What is that?” Tails said stopping all together and walked outside. As he opened the door, he was greeted by a frightful sight to him. Above his lab was the Egg Carrier, a massive airship that was owned by a certain egg shaped mad scientist.
“Eggman.” Tails said in a mix of shock and anger. The Egg Carrier then drop a massive pod on the beach, shaking the ground with the force of an earthquake. Tails gripped his hands into tight fists, not willing to get captured without a fight.
The pod opened to reveal not the rotund villain he and sonic had fought before, but a slender man in wearing clothing that matched Eggman’s attire.
As he exited the pod, two others left with him. Both familiar faces to the fox. Rouge and Shadow, both dressed scientific garb in and looked absolutely massive in weight. The hedgehog and the bat also wore blue lensed glasses that looked cybernetic.
“What is the meaning of this?!” The skinny Eggman pointed at Tails. “Running an illegal aircraft maintenance bay under my nose, I see.”
“What are you talking about?” Tails asked. His confusion not being dialed down when he saw the alternate versions of Shadow and Rouge circle around him like sharks in the water.
“Ms. Rouge, what is Egg-Law number five hundred and forty six?”
“Any and all mechanical works must be conducted at an Eggman Auto center, Lord Eggman.” Rouge replies robotically and she used her cybernetic glasses to scan Tails.
“Wait, Lord Eggman?!” Tails yelled as Rouge and Shadow returned to Eggman’s side and spoke to him.
“It appears that he is severely underweight as well.” Shadow said, raising his finger in the air as he explained. “A clear violation of Egg-Law number ten.”
“Well…”Eggman smiled creepily as he walked so close to Tails that he fell down. “What do you have to say for yourself, Fox?”
Before Tails could get a word out, he heard a low gasp. He turned his head and saw #1991 Sonic, the snacks he had brought with were dropped to his feet.
“L-Lord Eggman.” Sonic stuttered out, “A pleasure to see you here.” This made Tails do a double take, Sonic seemed to be afraid of Eggman.
“Hedgehog, Do you know this fugitive?” Eggman questioned #1991 Sonic and walked over to him. “Because If you do, we might need to have a discussion on Egg-Law number three hundred.”
“I know him,” Sonic fearfully squeaked out. “B-but we had just found this place and the plane was already fixed up when we found it.” Sonic sweated as Eggman lorded over him. “I-I’m being honest.”
‘I can’t believe this!’ Tails thought to himself as he still under the eyes of Rouge and Shadow as the duo raided through his alternate universe counterpart’s lab. ‘Lord Eggman, Sonic scared being scared of him, Everyone being fat, this universe is so strange.’
“Very well…” Eggman concluded as he walked away from #1991 Sonic and back into the pod. “However, I suggest that you get something for your little friend to eat.” Eggman spoke as Rouge and Shadow entered the pod with him. “We don’t want him to go to the Eggitorium, do we?”
As the pod flew back to the Egg Carrier, #1991 Sonic helped Tails up from the ground as the Egg Carrier flew off. Tails still trying to process the whole interaction he had just witnessed.
“You better be careful working on that plane, Lord Eggman doesn’t like vehicles not approved by him.” Sonic talked as he gave the food that was dropped on the ground to Tails.
“What was that?!” Tails said as #1991 Sonic gave him more of the food. “What happened here?” Tails tried to get an answer out of #1991 Sonic but, he was busy stuffing his face with the snacks he acquired.
“I guess I can get back to work on…” As Tails returned to the Workbench in the lab, He saw something was missing. “Where’s Hop?!” Tails yelled which got #1991 Sonic’s attention.
“Uhhhh…” #1991 Sonic paused as Tails paced around the lab. “Shadow or Rouge must’ve taken it, If they have it then I’ll never get back home.” Tails realized. “I have to get it back.”
“No!” #1991 Sonic yelled who stopped in the middle of eating some chips. “You can’t, Lord Eggman will catch you and send you to the Eggitorium for “reworking” and I don’t want that to happen to you.” #1991 Sonic earnestly said to Tails.
“I have too.” Tails reasoned with #1991 Sonic. “If I don’t, You’ll never see your Tails again.” He could see this version of his blue friend really didn’t want him to get hurt, but Tails just couldn’t lie down and accept that he was stuck in this world forever.
“I’m going to need some help in finding Eggman, Will you help me?” Tails asked to #1991 Sonic.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
