Normal Skylanders: The ordinary guys. No gimmicks about them.

Giants: They're huge!

Swap Force: Have your choice between all of the 256 choices of characters.

The New Skylanders: A new branch of Skylanders. Place these guys on the Portal of Power, and you'll be surprised at what they can do.
