As you enter the room, your jaw drops. Wall to wall, there are several rows of disembodied brains in jars. They seem to be filled with some sort of green preservative liquid. You slowly walk around the room, observing all of the different brains as you go. You start wondering who all of these people were. As you get caught up in your thoughts, you don't notice the person entering the room behind you.
"Fascinating, isn't it?" You hear a woman's voice say. You turn around and see a tall brunette woman in a white lab coat and her hair tied back. You think that she looks around her mid 30's.
"They are...What is this place?" You ask.
"This is the StemTech brain storage facility." She tells you. "As the name suggests, we store and preserve people's brains until a specified date of their choosing, if any, at which point they will be awakened and transferred into a body."
"Wow. I'm surprised that so many people would volunteer for something like this." You say.
"Well, some people will do anything to live forever." The woman replies. She then gestures towards a jar that you standing just to the side of. "Take for example, Mr Walt Disney, here. He requests that he be awoken once every century, where he will spend 2 years experiencing the new time period, and make 1 new animated movie, then go back into the jar."
"So, how do actually know which brain is which?" You ask.
"Well, we can scan the unique codes on the rim of each jar, which links me to our database." She tells you "We also have technology that can scan through their memories and read their thoughts." She adds.
"Wait, you can actually do that?" You ask, quite surprised at how advanced this time period is.
"Of course. We also use it to identify brains that have had their bodies stolen." The woman informs you.
You are amazed by what the woman has told you. Several ideas and possibilities start running through your head as you process the information.
