This choice: You go back to the present to retrieve your girlfriend's brain • Go Back...Chapter #6You go back to the present to retrieve your gir... by: Gavalar   As you think of all of the possibilities, you realise that there is one person who's thoughts you'd want to read. Your girlfriend, Fiona. Although your relationship with Fiona is going well, there are times where you wish you knew what she was thinking. You'd love to try out this technology with her brain.
"Hold on. I'll be right back." You tell the woman in the lab coat.
"I'll be waiting." She says.
You then leave the building, though you didn't have to with your powers. You just thought it would be less awkward if you didn't just suddenly vanish then reappear in front of her. You close your eyes and focus. You feel the rush of air again as you time traveller once more. When you open your eyes, you are standing outside your house. You were expecting to be standing in the same position that you were before you left, but this is more convenient since Fiona is just inside.
You go to open the door and walk in. You can hear the TV in the living room and assume that Fiona is watching it. You walk in and see her on the couch. She turns to you and welcomes you back, thinking that you were only gone for a few minutes. Before she can take the conversation any further, you freeze time. You confirm that Fiona is frozen by waving your hand in front of her, then you head to the kitchen. You grab a large, sharp knife and go back to Fiona. You begin to feel a bit queazy about what you are planning to do, but remember that you aren't killing her, since you are going to take her brain to the future and hook her up to whatever keeps those brains alive.
You carefully line up the knife and start cutting around the top of her head, in order to remove her scalp. It is tough to get through her skull, but you eventually succeed and lift her scalp away, revealing her exposed brain. You carefully scoop it up with your hands then cut the stem to separate it from her body. Once that is done, you place Fiona's brain inside a plastic container. Thankfully you had one that was big enough. You then clean up your hands, which have been covered in blood and slime.
You return to Fiona's body with the plastic container in your hands. SInce she is frozen, she still has the same expression as she did when you first entered the room. Curious about what would happen, you unfreeze time. Fiona's body almost immediately slumps over, her eyes staring ahead blankly. Kinda creep'd out by Fiona's lifeless, brainless body, you decide to time traveller to the future again.
You appear back in front of the Brain storage facility. You look down to check that Fiona's brain definitely came with you. Thankfully, she did. You enter the building again and are greeted by the labcoat woman.
"Oh, welcome back....And I see that you've brought a friend." She says, acknowledging Fiona's brain in the container.
"Yes. If it's not too much to ask, I'd like to scan through this brain." You ask.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
