Chapter #7

A Morning Walk...

    by: Kingfisher Author IconMail Icon
"A couple hours huh?" you ask as you look outside.

It was beautiful outside, not too bright or too hot out. A perfect day for a walk.
You look back at your pile of things in your spot. Your clothes and essentials were already unpacked, so the other things could wait. A relaxing walk would be nice after that long bus ride anyway.

"I think I'm gonna head out for a bit" you say

"Where to?" asked a curious Samuel.

"Nowhere in particular, I guess." you respond "Just gonna stretch my legs."

"It does look like a nice day for it." says Samuel "I may join you later."

"Sounds good. I'll see you guys later" you say as you open the door back into the hallway. Not hearing a response from either. Probably too busy to notice.

--------------------------------------

You get up from the bench you chose to take a quick rest at.
This place is huge! You've already been walking for an hour and you haven't managed to see all of the campus.

This place is just a marvel of architecture. The buildings have amazing carvings on them reprisenting different creatures and mages, the towers overlooking the school look like they're chisled from polished marbel! The whole thing has even been preserved from the 1800s...

"Hey!" you hear a familiar voice from nearby.

You look up to see who...

"Hey, Terra. How's it going?" you ask

"It's going well, actually." she says as she walks up to you. "Isn't this place amazing?"

"Yeah it is." you say back "It's a bit bigger than I expected."

"It's just like I thought it would be, minus the room-mate thing." she says, with an almost angry expression.

"You're having issues with your room-mate?"

"You don't know the half of it"

You try to think of a way to change the subject to soemthing a bit more pleasant.

"Hey, I saw what looked like a garden nearby when I was passing through. Wanna check it out?" You ask, hoping to also to get to know her a bit better.

"Well..."

You have the following choices:

1. Sure, why not?

*Noteb*
2. Actually, I have something I need to do before the speech...

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
