"Sure, why not?" Terra says, "we have about an hour. Might as well use the time for something nice."
You inwardly smile and see that despite Eric's jokes this was going better than expected. You were actually thinking that it can actually become something else. She was definitely pretty, as well as nice. And after talking to her a bit, she's also pretty smart.
"Well then, let's use the most of it." you say. She nods and follows you. The sheer size of the place was forcing you to take a while, so you decided to chat with Terra.
"So, Terra--"
"Please, call me Tariah," she stopped. "Terra is just a nickname, really."
Well that's interesting. "How'd you get it then?"
"It's just coincidence, actually. I liked going places, like to the woods and such. Heck, I even raised my own garden. It's just something about nature that I really like. Eventually, as a joke, Terra replaced my name, but I got used to it, believe it or not."
"That makes sense," you reply. "It suits you."
You weren't sure, but it looked like she was trying to hide a blush. "Thanks, [your name]."
Eventually, you reached your destination. Terra goes into awe as she saw the beautifully laid garden.
"Wow, the flowers here are beautiful!" she says, leaning down to better see and smell the flowers.
"Maybe your nickname should've been Flora instead," you joke, earning you a slight shove.
"Most people don't know that story, [your name]," she relies. "Either you got lucky or it was..."
after a paused moment you ask "Was what?"
"Oh, nothing" she says
For a moment, there was silence. The smell of flowers in the air and a quick breeze made the moment almost into something from a storybook. Terra only smiled as she strolled around the garden with you. You soon decide to break the silence...
"So Tariah, uh--"
"There you are!" you heard, interrupting your sentence. Who was it?
