Pam, Darla and Callie. The center of gravity as far as the social life of their center of high school was concerned.

They were cheerleaders, officers of in the student government, senior class officers, members of the homecoming court...the accolades went on and on. They were so successful that they were envied and hated as much as they were admired and lusted after.

They were often called the Death Stars. Among themselves, they were absolutely loyal. To others outside their circle, they were tolerant at best. Cross them, and they obliterated you.

As beautiful as they were, boys avoided them. Because to treat a Death Star badly was to invite doom.
