Isaac's heart leaped up into his throat when he saw Debbie, the woman who had basically brought him the mirror, standing in the elevator. For a second, Debbie didn't even recognize him, simply looking at a rather androgynous, chubby guy. Then, it seemed to hit her.
"Isaac?!" She asked, covering her mouth, "Oh my God, is that you?"
"Uh," Isaac was utterly embarrassed by this encounter, "Hey Debbie, what brings you here?"
"I was just..." She began, never taking her eyes off his expanded form as he stepped awkwardly into the elevator, "What happened to you?"
"Y-you're going to think I'm lying..."
"What do you mean?" Asked Debbie, a concerned look on her face.
"Just come with me to my apartment," said Isaac.
Debbie followed the rather curvy Isaac to his apartment, where Isaac sat her down and told her the story of what had been happening with the mirror and the curse. Isaac hadn't looked in the mirror for a few days now, fearing what he woulds see and knowing it was coming anyway. Debbie proved to be a good listener, if a bit skeptic at times, forcing him to stop with several questions.
"So I'm up to 186 pounds as of this morning," finished Isaac glumly, "41 pounds heavier than I was a month ago."
Debbie looked at him clearly troubled by something.
"What is it?"
Debbie shook her head, clearly deep in thought as she did so. Finally, she spoke.
