"You're crazy!"

    by: Inthecourt Author IconMail Icon
"You're crazy!" she said, turning up to him, "You expected me to believe that?!?"

"It's the truth!" said Isaac uselessly as he plopped down onto his sofa, his body giving one big jiggle as he did so.

"I'm out of here," she said, placing a yellow envelope on his desk, "This is a message from your deceased aunt, we were unable to get it to you last time."

Isaac could only watch as she walked out the door. He had half expected that she would be able to help him somehow, but now he felt truly alone. His attention turned to the yellow envelope Debbie placed on his counter, but before he could reach it, he heard his own voice call back to him.

"Rough day, huh?" said mirror Isaac, freezing the real Isaac in his tracks.

"Why don't you just shu-" Isaac swerved around and met his reflection in the mirror, unable to finish his sentence. He was at LEAST twenty pounds heavier than he was now, his shirt riding up to reveal and even more swollen midsection. Mirror Isaac happily sipped from a massive soda and took a bite of the burger he held in his other hand.

"God, don't you have any self control?" asked Isaac with disgust.

"Oh come on fatty," said the mirror Isaac, teasing, "Being fat isn't THAT bad."

"Speak for yourself, I hate this."

"Hate it or love it," said mirror Isaac as he took another swig of his soda, "Either way, it's happening."

Isaac walked away from the mirror, prompting another jab from mirror Isaac.

"God, I remember when my ass was that small," he said with a chuckle, "Enjoy it while it lasts, those pants won't fit for long."

"Screw you," was all Isaac could manage through his anger as he picked up the letter Debbie had left him.

"What did she want me to know?" wondered Isaac as he picked up the envelope.
