As you tremble you realize the sound was coming from the K.D.P.’s B-Block and remember that the orderlies protecting B-Block were water elements.
First was your archenemy, Lilith the werecrab. That crustacean was friendly and jovial towards the monster patients, but when it came to you, she only saw you as a snack and taunted you in your cage by snapping her big claws and telling you she was going to eat you. One time you remember her saying that you might taste good dipped in butter. It didn’t help that you were already terrified of sand crabs before finding out monsters were real.
Then there was Jedda, a bahamut, except her species was a combination of the mythical and Final Fantasy version of the bahamut. Jedda was a hippo with the wings and skin of a dragon and the gills of a fish. Unlike the rest of her family, including her big sister Elisa, Jedda ate humans. You heard she was dared to place a human in her mouth as a kid and discovered she liked the taste. However, you heard she was in a self-help group for predators who want to stop eating humans because she was afraid she’d wind up eating a friend of her sister’s. Unfortunately for you, she’s not showing much improvement. One time when she was trying to give you a friendly smile, you saw a human skeleton sticking out of her lower lip before she nervously sucked it back in.
Lastly of B-Block as far as orderlies go was the worst orderly in the building, the mock turtle Tarja, a creature resembling a cross between a minotaur and a sea turtle. Tarja was the only orderly to not care about any of the patients. In fact, you’ve seen her tease some of your fellow patients, seemingly trying to keep them insane. Not to mention she’s managed to sneak alcohol on the job with neither Dr. West or Whitney finding out. You wouldn’t be too surprised if she even tried to steal from the K.D.P. But she knows you know of her crimes and threatened to gulp you down if you told Kaguya or Whitney.
Water was definitely not your favorite element. But who’s the orderly coming through that door?
