Sweat runs down your face and looking up to the burning sun you swing your hoe, the dry earth yielding and breaking open.
With a deep sigh, you stare down at your hands, having turned 18 just some weeks ago -most likely, noone recorded your date of birth- they look decades older. Turning around you are standing in the meager field that your father was able to buy from the land lord who owned water and forests around you -making you pay for them highly-. Reaching for the bottle on the side of your belt you take a quick sip of water and continue tilling the field.
As the hours pass you get more and more enraged at the dry earth which isn't moving as you want.
With an angry growl you throw away the hoe, letting a dust cloud erupt where it hit the floor.
