Rena wakes up one morning as if everything is normal. She walks to the bathroom to brush her teeth. Her tail sways back and forth as she walks. She has tiger striped fur all over and red hair that reaches down to her shoulders. Humming to herself she begins to brush her teeth. As she looks into the mirror she notices that they look sharper than usual, but just assumes she's seeing things because she's tired. However her eyes drift upward and widen at what she sees. There are two horns on her head. They aren't very long and curve slightly back. Rena lets out a scream and stumbles backward. "What the hell?!" she says aloud. Feeling the horns she confirms that they are real. She looks herself over and doesn't see anything else wrong with her body. Unknown to her though her teeth and claws are sharper than normal. After numerous attempts she realizes that she can't hide the horns. Trying to remain calm she racks her brain for a way to deal with this.
After ten minutes of pacing Rena decides to call Beth, her best friend. She calls Beth and about twenty minutes later there is a knock on the door. "Rena? Its me." Beth's voice says from the other side of the door. "Okay, I'm letting you in but don't freak out okay?" Rena tells her. "Freak out? Um, okay." Beth says a little confused. The door opens and Beth is quickly yanked inside before Rena slams it shut. Beth is a tabby cat girl with orange fur. She doesn't freak out at her friend's appearance but she is shocked. "Are those horns?" she asks slowly as she gets closer. "Yes! I just woke up and they were there! What do I do!?" Rena says. As she says this she has to bat away Beth, who is in the process of poking and feeling her horns. "You know, you look taller too." Beth says as she looks Rena over. Rena feels herself up and notices that her pajamas aren't as loose as they usually are. "Oh god your right! Whats going on?!" Beth just shrugs, which annoys her larger than normal friend. "Why are you so calm!? I'm in a crisis here!" Rena snaps. As she has this little outburst she feels herself getting larger, as well as her pajamas ripping.. Beth watches with her mouth open and circles her friend, checking her body. "Now I'm bigger! What's going on?" Rena exclaims while trying to calm down. "I don't know, but check your tail." Beth says. Rena feels her furry tail and finds that it is thicker than normal, even in proportion to her new size. Her horns are also a little longer, curving back further. She sits there in a slump while Beth thinks things over.
After a couple of minutes Beth speaks. "Okay, we don't know whats happening but I think we can agree that you need some new clothes. I'm gonna go get you something and then we can try and find out what's going on." Rena watches as her friend leaves and thanks the heavens that she is so reliable. While waiting for her to return she feels a sudden burst of anger at her situation. Why was this happening to her? What did she do to deserve this? Her thoughts are cast aside when Beth comes through the door. "I found some clothes you can wear." she says as she hands them to Rena. Its a simple outfit, just a shirt and some pants, but it looks pretty nice. She even brought big enough undergarments. "Where did you get these?" Rena inquires. "I bought them. You're lucky you didn't get too big, or you wouldn't even fit the plus sized women's clothes." Once she's dressed, Rena puts on a rather large hat that Beth brought to cover her horns. Now that she's ready to head out, where do they go?
