Your girlfriend puts her hand on the table and looks at you.
"Why don't you chop my finger off." She says. You are surprised at her suggestion as well as her eagerness.
"Really? What if it doesn't work?"
"It will work, and if it doesn't, I'll just go to the hospital. It's not like I'm going to die." She says. You weren't sure about it, but you decide to try it anyway. You go to the kitchen and grab a sharp knife and then return to her. You hold the knife over her hand and ready yourself.
"Are you sure about this?" You ask her.
"Just do it. I'll be fine." She tells you. She then closes her eyes and braises herself.
You take a big swing and cut straight through her index finger. It separates easily and blood starts to gush out of the wound as your girlfriend lets out a pain filled scream.
"Oh crap! Are you okay!?" You ask in panic.
"It really hurts! Quick! Heal it!" She yells, desperately.
You grab her severed finger and push it against the stump on her hand. You then lean in and kiss her on the lips. As the kiss ended, she begins to calm down as the pain fades. You both look down at your girlfriend's hand. Her index finger was now completely reattached to her hand and it didn't even leave a scar.
"Wow! That is amazing! You are amazing!" She says, leaning in for a hug and then a kiss.
"So, it really works." You say, still letting everything sink in.
