Lisa chose Maria Lopez. The other women would have made a great Lisa too, but she felt really bad for Maria. She was definitely the worst off of the three. Lisa didn't want to be 13 years older, but Maria was still young enough for Lisa to enjoy her new life if she could survive as Maria.
Lisa asked Tina " Can I get more information on Maria?". Tina pulled out a file and handed it to Lisa.
Maria's file gave Lisa insight on Maria. They were both almost the same height, but that is where the similarities end. Maria in her photo appeared to have wider hips and a gigantic ass. She seemed chunky or somewhat overweight. Lisa was used to being fit and attractive. Maria looked like she could be much more attractive if she lost that weight. Barely skimming through the rest of Maria's file, Lisa just read the medical summary to make sure Maria was healthy and free of any diseases or illnesses.
While still holding Maria's file, Lisa asked "So when can I switch with Maria? She really needs to get out of her life."
Although Tina didn't show it, she was amazed. She hadn't expected anyone to partake in this usually one sided program. She thought Lisa was genuinely a very kind and giving person or very naive. Regardless, she began printing out the necessary paperwork that Lisa needed to fill out and sign before the switch. The large pile of paperwork she handed to Lisa would take some time to fill out. "While you're filling out all this, I'm going to get a hold of the nonprofit and see when they can get Maria in.
It took Lisa almost an hour to fill out all the paperwork that the Nexus required. Since she was trading lives permanently instead of renting, much more forms needed to be filled out. Just as she was about done, Tina came back in.
Tina said "I managed to get a hold of Maria through a third party, she said she could be here..."
