Chapter #3

Dad.

by: Scifiwizard Retired Author IconMail Icon
Dad looks sadly at the flame burning in your hand. "So... It's happening already." tearing up, he whispered. "Jessica has discovered her power, she is growing up."

Unknown to you, dad was a mad scientist and his wife was a witch. He thought back to his late wife and wished she was still around to guide you. Sadly, she passed away shortly after Mat was born and made him promise to help you learn magic when you discovered it. Only, dad had hoped it would not happen for a little while longer. He did not have the ability to teach you, being a master of mad science and not witchcraft, he would have to send you to a special school, as he had his eldest son.

"I'm not ready to let go of my little girl." proud but sad, dad whispered. "Forgive me, Maria, my love but I have to stall this for just a little longer...."

What does your father do...?
